I've received a couple of commissions for tattoo designs recently. Here are two draft designs that I have sketched for Franki.

I have just started a new project with talented sisters Hannah Hunter-Kelm and Ella Dickinson. The plan is to post a book back and forth and alter it to create a piece of artwork - we were inspired by an altered book project by Phoebe Wahl, and I hope it will be both fun and challenging to make something together. The book we are using is a second-hand copy of Kenneth Grahame's 'Dream Days', partly picked because of its beautiful illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard (most famous for his drawings for Winnie-the-Pooh) which I think will be interesting to work around and incorporate into our own images. Here are the first few pages I've worked on, plus a photo of the envelope I'm using to send it on to Hannah.
I took my sketchbook with me on a trip to visit my friend's new baby. I'd like to try and get back into more regular sketching (like my dad, who takes his sketchbook everywhere).
Left: Lazy scribble of my boots, pencil and pen. Right: Reuben at 2 weeks old, pencil. I was inspired by boxes by Kim Welling and Lova Blåvarg's shadow boxes to make my own (slightly scruffier) matchboxes. I'm still considering what to do with this last one - I like the background too much to want to put anything in front of it, but at the moment the box looks empty and unfinished.
